President Grenville and PP Barrie travelled to Calperum along with Jeff Cluse (Regency Park), Russell Green (Regency Park), President Richard Ford (Walkerville) and Peter Sowden (Walkerville) on March 13 to undertake the joint ‘Environmental’ project to the Hide Away Hut.
The project involved:
- Installing a new Kitchen – 90% completed during earlier trip
- Tiling existing Bathroom floor
- Creating a fenced outdoor area incorporating outdoor shower, bathand relaxation area
The team worked and played hard for 4 days (10 hour days) and completed all tasked required. Lots of banter and red wine with 1 evening socialising with the Rotary Club of Onkaparinga whom were undertaking a fencing project at Calperum. A great combined effort for a group of old farts.
