RYLA, which stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, is an initiative of Rotary International that is implemented in Australia. RYLA aims to provide young people between the ages of 18 and 25 with leadership training and personal development opportunities through a range of workshops, seminars, and outdoor activities.
The program is designed to enhance the leadership skills of participants and encourage them to become positive change-makers in their communities. RYLA in Australia is typically run over a five to seven-day period and is facilitated by Rotary clubs across the country. The program covers a range of topics including leadership, communication, teamwork, and community service, with the goal of empowering young people to make a positive impact in the world.
