The Rotary Club of Prospect was buzzing with laughter and lively conversation last Wednesday as members and their partners gathered at Auntie8’s Vietnamese Restaurant on Prospect Road. This social evening was a perfect opportunity for fun, fellowship, and a chance to simply relax and catch up with one another outside of our regular meetings.
These gatherings are a cherished part of our club’s culture, strengthening the bonds of friendship that are the foundation of our service. The vibrant atmosphere of Auntie8’s, combined with their delicious Vietnamese cuisine, provided the perfect setting for a memorable night.
The evening was made even more special as we had the pleasure of celebrating several wonderful milestones together as a club family. We raised a glass and shared in cake, extending our warmest congratulations to Denise and Kingsley Palmer on their 50th wedding anniversary.
We also sang a hearty “Happy Birthday” and shared our best wishes with two of our dedicated members, Robert Roocke, celebrating his 80th birthday and Kevin Obst, who also celebrated his birthday.
It’s moments like these – celebrating personal milestones and enjoying easy fellowship – that truly highlight the strong sense of community within the Rotary Club of Prospect. A heartfelt thank you to all who attended and made the night so enjoyable. We are already looking forward to the next one!
