Hawker Drought Muster Supporting Farmers

In the spirit of community and ‘Service Above Self’, the Rotary Club of Prospect is proud to announce its participation in the Hawker Drought Muster, a special event dedicated to supporting farming communities in the Hawker region of South Australia who have been affected by severe drought.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Campbelltown, this initiative aims to provide a day of fellowship, fun, and support for the resilient people of Hawker.

Event Details:

  • 🗓️ Date: Saturday, 8th of November 2025
  • 📍 Venue: Hawker Community and Sports Centre

The day promises an atmosphere for all ages, with a free BBQ lunch, music, health checks, and a range of kids’ entertainment. It’s an opportunity for the local community to come together, relax, and connect.

The Rotary Club of Prospect will be joining forces with the Rotary Club of Regency Park to lend our support on the day. Our members will be assisting with various functions and will be bringing a unique display of Corolla Capers cars for everyone to enjoy.

To further support the local attendees, the Rotary Clubs of Prospect and Regency Park have jointly applied for a District Grant to provide an array of prizes for a free raffle, offering a small gesture of support and a bit of fun for the Hawker community.

This event is a powerful example of how the Rotary family comes together to make a difference. We look forward to standing in solidarity with the people of Hawker and contributing to a successful and uplifting day.

Members of the Rotary Club of Prospect who are interested in participating, particularly those who wish to bring their Corolla for the display, are encouraged to get in touch, as accommodation has been pre-booked to facilitate our involvement.
