Due to the Easter and Anzac holidays numbers attending were down from usual, however a great night was had.
Our guest speaker, Nomika Abraham (accompanied by her mother Maria) is a 12 year old school student whom wrote a book for her year 12 project. Nomika talked about the inspiration and challengers of writing a book for the first time.
Nomika’s booked has been published and all proceed of book sales are being donated to her nominated charity. What an inspiring and confident young women, she captured all of our hearts. Nomika’s ambition is to study medicine and become a doctor. A number of our members purchased Nomika’s book on the night.
Kenneth Adams will be inducted into our club at the next meeting 27th April. Ken is transferring from Regency Park Rotary Club to Prospect.
