Community Spirit at Enfield Garden

The Rotary Club of Prospect recently rolled up its sleeves and put its hands to good use, erecting a brand-new shed for the Enfield Community Garden! Thanks to the generous donation of the shed from Bunnings, the garden now has a much-needed storage space, marking another successful community project for our club.

Led by the dedicated Julia Halavati, the Enfield Community Garden provides a valuable space for local residents to connect with nature and each other. Our club was thrilled to contribute to this wonderful initiative.

The day was a true team effort, with Doug, Rod, Grenville, Robert R., and Joe all working tirelessly to assemble the shed. Special mention goes to Joe, Julia’s father, who will be returning to level the shed, position it onto the slab, and anchor it securely.

We were able to complete the major construction, including the roof and doors, despite the demanding work. It was a successful, albeit tiring, day!

A huge thank you to Rod, Robert, and Grenville for their exceptional hard work and dedication. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Julia Halavati for her leadership and for providing delicious morning tea, lunch, and plenty of refreshing water to keep our team energized throughout the day.

This project exemplifies the Rotary spirit of “Service Above Self” and demonstrates our commitment to supporting local community initiatives. We’re proud to have played a part in enhancing the Enfield Community Garden and look forward to seeing it flourish.
